Why does my stepbrother hate me?

Christmas has always been my favourite time of the year. For as long as I can remember I’ve looked forward to the traditions my mother and I have followed. Baking endless amounts of holiday sweets, decorating the Christmas tree while sipping spiked hot cocoa by the fire. Traditions we’ve never strayed from. That is, until my mother married Mr. Pierce.

This year everything is different. Due to a snowstorm. I’m stranded in a log cabin that looks like it came straight out of a Christmas movie. Oh, and did I mention I’m snowed in with my new stepbrother who despises me? I keep hoping that someone will come and rescue me from his cocky grin and bad attitude.
